About the Service App
The Service App is a mobile application designed to streamline field service operations. It enables Service Engineers to manage assigned service tickets, communicate with customers, capture updates, and synchronize all data in real time with SAP Business One — all from their mobile device.
Information we collect
- Account Authentication and Information:To access the Service App, you must log in using credentials provided by your employer. We collect:
- User ID and password (used solely for authentication purposes)
- Session tokens for maintaining secure login sessions
- Service Ticket and Work Data:As part of providing the core service management functionality, we collect and process:
- Service ticket details: ticket ID, status, priority, customer name, address, and contact number
- Check-in and check-out timestamps to track time spent at customer locations
- Service resolution remarks and notes entered by the engineer
- Item requests raised against service tickets
- Calibration (CC Request Form) data including calibration parameters and results
- Invoice and sales order details linked to service tickets
- Location Data:The Service App may use your device location in the following ways:
- Navigation: When you tap the map icon on a ticket, the app opens your device’s navigation app (e.g., Google Maps) to direct you to the customer location. We do not store your GPS coordinates.
- Employer-Enabled Attendance Tracking: If your employer has configured location-based check-in/check-out, your location at the time of check-in or check-out may be logged. This data is processed under your employer’s instructions and policies.
- Device and Camera Action:The Service App may request access to:
- Camera: To capture and upload photos as attachments to service tickets. This access is voluntary and requires your explicit permission. You can revoke this permission at any time via your device settings.
- Photo Storage / Gallery: Photos taken via the app are saved to your device gallery for your reference.
- Device Information: We may collect device-specific information such as operating system version and hardware statistics for operational and performance purposes only.
How we use your information
We use the information collected to:

Data Sharing
- With your EmployerAll service ticket data, work logs, check-in/check-out records, attachments, and resolutions entered in the app are synced directly to your employer’s SAP Business One system. Your employer is the data controller for all work-related data processed through this application.
- Third Party Service ProviderWe may use trusted third-party service providers to support app operations (e.g., cloud infrastructure, analytics). These providers are permitted to use your information only as necessary to deliver services to us and are bound by confidentiality obligations.
- Legal RequirementsWe may disclose personal information if required by law or in response to valid requests from public authorities (e.g., law enforcement). We will notify you where legally permitted to do so.
- Business TransfersIn the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may be transferred as part of the business transaction. Any new owner will continue to use your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

We will notify users of material changes via the application or other appropriate communication channels. Continued use of the Service App after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
